BASIC RECIPE

Water (1st stage) 8 lbs. 12 oz. 35%
Vegetable Oil 3 lbs. 2 oz. 12.5%
Water (2nd stage) 2 lbs. 13 oz. 11.25%
INSTRUCTIONS
Small Batch
  1. Combine: Using a paddle, combine cake mix with first-stage water.
  2. Mix: Mix for 1 minute in low speed, scrape, then mix for 2 minutes in medium speed.
  3. Add oil: Add oil while mixing in low speed. Mix for 1 minute in low speed, then scrape.
  4. Add water: Add second-stage water while mixing in low speed.
  5. Final mix: Mix for 1 minute in low speed, scrape, then mix for 2 minutes in low speed.
  6. Deposit: Deposit batter as desired.
  7. Bake: Bake for 1 hour at 360°F for a 26 oz. scale weight.
